Tom Pendergrass, Senior Vice President of Aerospace at ACET, drives innovation in aviation by deploying emerging technologies across a diverse range of Department of Defense (DoD) aircraft. With over 35 years of extensive industry experience, Mr. Pendergrass excels in Research and Development (R&D), Acquisition Management, Logistics, Manufacturing, and Program and Contract Management. His expertise is rooted in the Lifecycle Sustainment of major aircraft fleets and the development and seamless integration of advanced avionics, mission systems, and airframe technologies for multiple U.S. military aircraft.
Before joining ACET in 2018, Mr. Pendergrass served as Program Manager for U.S. Navy and Marine Corps Aviation Programs at L-3 Communications, where he successfully managed a $50 million annual budget, delivering exceptional results for domestic and international DoD clients. A certified Project Management Professional (PMP), he also brings over 20 years of expertise in ISO 9001, AS 9100, and CMMI Process Development and Compliance.
Mr. Pendergrass holds an A.S. in Avionic Electronics and a B.S. in Manufacturing Technology from Eastern Kentucky University. Known for his strong leadership and ability to manage Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) across multiple product lines, Mr. Pendergrass consistently delivers high-impact results, cementing his reputation as a dynamic and results-driven leader in the aerospace industry.
Mr. Pendergrass lives in Richmond, Kentucky with his wife Shannon and their children. In his free time, he enjoys golfing and spending time with friends and family.
