Doug brings more than 30 years of experience in the
commercial and defense aerospace industry, supporting advanced fabrication,
manufacturing, depot- and organizational-level maintenance, and complex
aircraft modification and integration programs. With over 22 years dedicated to
Rotary / Fixed Wing U.S. Navy, Marine Corps, Army, and Coast Guard aviation
programs, his technical background spans a wide range of platforms, including Military
Boeing, Sikorsky, Bell aircraft at US Military Base Locations and Commercial
Platforms with Airbus, McDonnell Douglas, CRJ, Embraer, Beechcraft, King Air,
and Hawker aircraft at FAA Part-135 and Part-145, MRO Maufacturing and Repair
Stations.
Doug, located in Havelock NC, is the Deputy Director of
Operations – Aerospace Programs, supporting PMA-299 MH-60 R/S, PMA-276
UH-1Y and AH-1Z Depot and O-Level Rapid Support Modifications and Maintenance
Programs.
As Director of Precision Engineering Commercial
Operations, he is managing an industry leader in precision CNC machining
and parts manufacturing, shaping the program to grow into a nationally
completive premier full-spectrum manufacturing solution provider for both
commercial and defense markets.
Before transitioning to ACET in 2021, Doug spent 15 years
with GDIT as a Program Operations Manager, supporting PMA-299 H-60 (B, H, F, S,
R), PMA-276 H-1 (Z, Y), and PMA-257 AV-8 programs across multiple CONUS and
OCONUS locations. He has more than two decades of experience ensuring
compliance with ISO 9001 and AS9100 standards and strengthening operational
processes across diverse aviation environments.
Doug is a results-driven leader with proven strengths in
strategic planning and development, operational management, project management,
cost analysis, and quality performance. His focus on quality, efficiency,
mission readiness, and continuous improvement consistently enhances program
outcomes and organizational performance.
