As Chief Marketing Officer at Adams Communication & Engineering Technology (ACET), Claudia drives strategic branding, corporate communications, and business development initiatives to position ACET as a premier solutions provider for the U.S. Department of Defense and other federal agencies.
A seasoned executive with over a decade of experience in highly competitive and regulated environments, Claudia previously served as President and CEO of Defense Technology Systems (DTS, Inc.), a defense contractor specializing in Aerospace systems integration and mission support. She forged and established partnerships which resulted in multiple contract awards. During her tenure, she emphasized leadership, collaboration, contract management, contract negotiations, program delivery, and financial stewardship across diverse government portfolios.
Before joining the DoD industry, Claudia spent 15 years as a restauranteur in Maryland with a Pan-American cuisine and a Latin Fusion Steakhouse in Washington, D.C.
Claudia studied English in college though her strong artistic and creative interests led her to art school in New York, where, under Bob Marx, she specialized in decorative painting techniques & restoration finishes. Collaborating with architects and designers, she worked on government, residential and commercial projects.
Born and raised in El Salvador, Claudia’s life journey is defined by resilience, drive, and a deep appreciation for the power of opportunity and gratitude.
Growing up in El Salvador, where she witnessed firsthand the challenges faced by underserved communities, inspired a deep commitment to creating positive change through nonprofit work ranging from educational, health initiatives, housing, agriculture, environmental sustainability and STEM programs. She believes in the power of collective action and works towards building partnerships that create lasting impact for generations to come.
Beyond the boardroom, Claudia is a proud mother who balances her professional life with her deep dedication to her family. In her spare time, she enjoys all things Neuroscience, traveling, reading and gardening.
