ACET is pursuing the following major contract as a PRIME Contractor:

TECHNICAL INFORMATION ENGINEERING SERVICES (TIES) $1.1 Billion IDIQ Contract

SUMMARY:

The Department of Army, Army Materiel Command (AMC), Research, Development and Engineering Command (RDECOM), Communications-Electronics Research and Development Engineering Command (CERDEC), may have a continuing requirement for Technical, Information and Engineering Services (TIES) for the Intelligence and Information Warfare Directorate (I2WD).

BACKGROUND:

The mission of the U.S. Army CERDEC Intelligence and Information Warfare Directorate (CERDEC I2WD) is to guarantee the American Warfighter and coalition forces the Information Dominance needed on today’s battlefield. CERDEC I2WD develops and supports effective intelligence and information warfare tools that provide enemy situation awareness, targeting, and electronic combat technology to our troops through technology development and insertion, prototype demonstration and operational system support. This system support includes development, production and fielding of equipment and systems for strategic, tactical, intelligence and counter-drug needs, as well as the development and production of tactical systems in support of the CECOM Program Executive Offices (PEOs), their Product Managers (PMs) and various other DoD agencies.

As material developer, I2WD has a need for a broad range of technical disciplines ranging from requirements and operational analyses through deployment and support of systems in the field. This Performance Work Statement (PWS) forms the basis for a contract that will support I2WD (and its evolving successor organizations), I2WD elements at other locations (e.g., Fort Huachuca and European Development Facility, etc.), PEOs, PMs and other DoD agencies developing complex, state-of-the art technologies tools and systems in our mission areas. The scope and purpose of this contract is to provide the requisite operational, program management, technical, engineering, integration, prototype development and fabrication, program support services and products necessary for I2WD to meet its mission and customer needs. The services to be provided by the contractor encompass a wide variety of program support for all elements of the Acquisition Cycle and the subsequent support of systems in the field. The contractor(s) must also have the demonstrated resources to be able to respond immediately to quick reaction requirements and situations.
