In the spring of 1999, Charles Adams founded ACET, Inc. to serve federal agencies throughout the Intelligence Community (i.e. CIA, DNI, NGA and NSA), Department of Defense, and Department of Veterans Affairs. ACET, Inc. began with a philosophy to hire the absolute best and brightest people - to be thought of as the employer of choice among top engineers and scientists in the intelligence community.

Our firm has always sought the most challenging projects, those that test the boundaries of our technical creativity, innovation or performance under pressure. Our firm has managed a consistent pattern of growth as evidenced by the recent opening of new facilities to better serve our clients. In 2005, ACET, Inc. opened its new headquarters facility in Southern Maryland, complete with a training center and separate recruiting office. In 2006, we opened the Reston, VA office, which is now headquarters for our Medical IT division. In September 2011, ACET opened the Aberdeen, MD area office, which serves as headquarters for our Defense Solutions division. Future offices will be located in Arizona, Oklahoma, New Jersey, Texas, and Florida.
